With over 16 years of experience, Laura Formica has served the real estate industry in a variety of roles, most recently as president of Homestead Living, where she led the management division overseeing 250 team members and over 8,000 units across the student housing, multi-family, and senior-living business units.
As a key leader in the organization, Laura worked alongside owners and equity partners to build the management company infrastructure from the ground-up, recruiting and leading the teams to implement all company systems, IT, data and reporting, policy and procedures, budget-planning, value-add strategy, and acquisitions.
Laura’s cross-functional expertise is vast, with leadership experience over operations, marketing, acquisitions, and human resources. With a passion for people, Laura’s goal is to build a team environment where thought-partnership, diversity of thought and experience, and collaboration brings the best ideas to the table, and a shared passion for execution means performance for investors and a fun, inspired culture for all.
Laura graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications, a minor in Business, and a certificate in sales from the Schey Sales Centre. Laura’s passions include being a mom, and making an impact on people’s lives through real estate investment and management.
